Obama talks to Mauritians

A few Mauritians  and one Seychellois had the privilege of meeting the President of the USA, Barack Obama and State Secretary, Hilary Clinton during the Young African Leaders Forum held from August 3 to 5 at the White House.
About 110 young leaders from more than 40 Sub-Saharan African countries were present. The forum had been organized in an effort to forge progressive and solid associations in the future between the USA and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Barrack Obama met the young leaders to discuss their vision for the economic growth and expansion of their country in the next 50 years. There were discussions on issues pertaining to efficient management and economic opportunities for the promising future of Sub-Saharan Africa.
Mauritius was represented by Jonathan Ravat, Diana Bablee and Joelle Rabot while Neddy Padayachy represented the Seychelles.
