EDUCATION OFFICER COMMITS SUICIDE IN BEDROOM

Dhiren Nunkoo, a young education officer was found hanged in his bedroom. The body of the former IT Education officer who worked at New Eton College in Rose Hill was taken to Victoria Hospital where the Chief Police Medical Officer, Dr Satis Boolell, performed a post mortem. It was certified the death was caused by asphyxia due to hanging.

The young man left behind his parents namely his father, Rada Nunkoo, a lawyer, a brother and a sister as well as his mother. who seems devastated by this tragedy.

Dhiren was engaged two months ago was about to complete his LLB degree. His wedding date had already been set to take place in 2010. His colleagues remember him as someone of a good nature, quiet and a very lively person who was loved by every body.
